NDA – National Defence Academy Exam Result
The National Defence Academy (NDA) recruits young teens each year to fill in the vacancies on various defence jobs in the army, navy, and the air force. The recruitment test – done under two phases – is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Overview of NDA Exam 2014
Candidates need to attend a written exam where aptitude of the examinees is assessed for various subjects. Tests are conducted to assess the academic brilliance of the candidates in the subjects such as English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Current Affairs, Geography, and more. In the same day, the two papers are answered by the candidates.
Every year, two such exams are conducted by the UPSC. The official website announces the list of candidates who are eligible for the next round – the intelligence and personality test. This test is done in the form of an interview with the three defence forces coming in together to choose their respective candidates.
Result of NDA Exam 2014 Written Test
The result of the written test is published within a couple of months. It consists of a list examinees, who have secured a certain percentage or pass marks in all subjects. They are called for the next round.
Result for NDA Exam 2014 Interview
The successful candidates who have secured a pass mark in the written test are called for the interview. The interview is organized by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. The list is again published for those have successfully completed their personality test. After a few weeks, the course begins.

It is important to keep the hall ticket or admit card to ensure a smooth admission to the NDA course that is taught to the successful candidates so that they get a defence job in any of the three defence forces.
Successful candidates take up the 3-year course to get trained for different defence services.
